As we all know, The Brooklyn Nets (co-owned by Jay-Z) are the most urban team in the league with a swag all its own. With a newly designed gym, new name and new logo, it’s only fair that the dancers get their own uniforms as well.
Mr. David Dalrymple designed the new frocs for the dancers. Dalrymple holds an impressive resume including working with Patricia Fields on “Sex and the City” and “The Devil Wears Prada”. He even designed the former Knicks uniforms. This time he strayed away from the bright colors and sequins and opted for something a little more tough and edgy. Here’s what he told The New York Post.
“This isn’t palm trees and sunshine. It’s New York City, and it’s Brooklyn. It’s a different sensibility. We go hard”
Fingerless gloves, leather, studs and boots…he definitely went hard.
